My myson velaire has stopped working. It is a 135000 Btu class x boiler fitted with an Electro oil international fan/burner unit. When I first found out it had stopped I found the fuse in the plug had blown, when I replaced it and switched on again it blew my main rcd at the consumer unit.
Any thoughts on this?
It sounds like you have a short either in or around the boiler either that or there is an earth leakage. check all the wires and wiring in and around the boiler. normally you can see what the problem is with either broken loose or burnt wires. If you cant then you need to test the components in the boiler with a multi meter.
