Mend AST Ascentia P series Bought Garage Sale

I just bought a new computer from a garage sale?

I just bought a new computer from a garage sale it's a AST Ascentia P series notebook and i think whenever i turn it on the setups for it and everything come up on it what am i to do to the computer to fix it so i can see what's on it?
