emachine is a computer brand.
The owners of those are often peoples who have rather limited computer knowlege.
It's probably running Windows XP or Vista.
You have 3 choices:
1 - Bring it to a computer shop, they may be wiling to reset the password. it will cost you some.
2 - Reinstall Windows. You may be able to do a factory reset.
3 - Try to guess the password. If you are lucky, it could be rather trivial if he chosed a bad one...
Try those notorious bad passwords: 12345, qwerty, azerty, 123456, 1234567, 12345678, 123456789, password.
Do a Google search for "bad password", "most common passwords" or "worst passwords" and try those.
If the previous owner had a nic name, try to find it and try it. Same for a pet name, girl friend's name, favorite sport club,... You can have the owner's family name? Try it, especialy if the login name looks like it may be a first name.
Ask the lady, she may be able to give you those informations.
