My Hoover 2320L keeps filling, how do I fix it?

Sometimes the tube to the level switch has worn through or pulled out of the mount, so reseat if loose or replace tube if damaged.

If it still has the same cutoff system my older hotpoint top loader had it's most likely the air displacement cut off bottle valve has stuck, on mine it's found in the back of the machine on the outer water drum. remove the top thin tube off the bottle stick annother free end tube over the nipple of the bottle and blow very hard or fix a bike pump to the tube then pump and you should hear a click when the valve frees.
