Mend Candy CDT00 Repair Motor Drum

how can i fix the cdt00?

once switched on timer turned the pump operates however the drum itself roates after 5 mins for 40 seconds the is static for ruffly 5 mins then operates turns again for 40 seconds then stopps .
could you please tell me what is wrong how to repair it?
