hi i have a toyota lucida td 2wd 1996 auto i have just gone to start it but it will not its not the battery but when i turn the key fully it just clicks then the lights on the dash go out many thanks mark

It could be a jammed starter,put it into third gear and push it back and forward a little,it wont take much,then try,it would be worth taking teh starter off and cleaning it.
