Mend Bell Model Help

I have a Bell South model 223 telephone?

I don't remember how to put a number in the memory of my Bell South model 223 telephone! Can you help me out?

1 Lift handset for a dial tone.

2 Press and release the STORE key.

3 Dial the number to be stored.

4 Press and release the STORE key again.

5 Press and release the key of the desired memory location. To store on the upper page, simply press the desired location. To store on the lower page, first press the LOWER key, then press the desired location.

6 Hang up the handset in the cradle.

7 Write the name of the party whose number was stored in the appropriate box. Repeat this process to store additional numbers. This will erase previous numbers.
