Mend Veritas 8 Keypad Alarm Working

How to fix Veritas- 8 Keypad?

I have a Veritas 8 Alarm Keypad. One numbered- button not working. How can I rectify this. Does it need a new Keypad.?.

I cant change the user code because, it needs old code entry first. Which I cant do because one number from old code not working.

As a temp fix, can you change the user code to one that doesn't use the faulty button? Replacement keypads aren't available for the Veritas 8. You could add an remote keypad and site it next to the panel.
