Mend Captiv8 Alarm Reset Reason

Captiv8 alarm?

What is "ZEX TAMPER"?
This message along with "ENGINEER RESET" is now being displayed on our keypad.
I have reason to believe that the electrician working here has caused this as all was ok when I left for work this morning,he assures me that he has not caused this fault and the alarm did sound which he silenced with the code we issued him with before the works started.

My main worry now is the cost of employing an engineer,so is there anything we can try ourselves?,we have the user instructions which is not helpful.

Or he's removed the lid on the zone expander unit and now the system is in tamper waiting for a reset.

As long as he's put lid and both screws back in, then it just needs engineers reset,and for that you will need the code.

Please answer gts's question and do you know the engineering code?.

cable has been cut or a cover removed from a sensor what zone does the panel tell you is tamper fault on ?
