Mend Noise Power Shower

How can I reduce the noise on my power shower?

When I use my shower, the pump on the power shower comes on and is very loud? How can I reduce the noise? Can I build a pump enclosure? The pump is located in the attic.

the instructions state that.

stand it on something that will absorb the noise or vibration.
