What is a safe distance from a storage heater to dry clothes? Can I hang clothes above a storage heater, but obviousley not touching the unit or covering the vents?

It is an electrical appliance,if you hang wet/damp clothes above it you deserve what will happen.

However if you get a clothes horse and position it in front of the unit and then hang clothes on that that will work.
