This problem would appear to be quite common. I have the same problem on an ebac 2650e, no power to the unit.
I took a look at the control board, a 600v silicon controlled rectifier triac (marked as SCR1 on the board) had blown and taken out 2 resistors on a 4 resistor array (marked 331 on each set)
I have replaced part of the array with 2 singular 330 ohm resistors, I am awaiting a replacement SCR from ebay.
The SCR is a T405Q-600, this is also known as a BT136S600, with any luck this will be on my doorstep in the morning ready for fitting. Hopefully, this "should" solve the problem, a couple of quid vs 50 quid for a new board, we'll see...
