renault megane rt 1.4 petrol "s" reg starting problems?
the thing is playing up big style iv`e changed the plugs distributer cap and rotor and the coil to no avail, after doing this it took about 1 hour to get it started and i took it for a run, i then left it for about 1/2 hour then it wouldnt start. im getting really sick of it nowis there anything else that could go wrong? i got good spark and theres fuel at the carb so what can it be? please help as i am becoming suicidal. i hate renault

cant actually remember on these things ,so have a quick look on the top of the gearbox bell housing where it meets the engine block.you'r looking for an electrical doodad held on by 2,10 mm hex heads.this (if it has one) will be the crank angle sensor.notorious for your symptoms and first look at for renalts that dont like starting.if no cas ,sorry for wasting time.
