central locking on a transit connect 03 ci lx lwb?

Have intermittent central locking on 04 transit connect? replaced battery in fob, no joy, is it fob or something more sinister?

I have an 07 transit connect, having problems with central locking, when i press the remote it locks but unlocks strait away. would be gratefull for any advice.

Take out the 2 screws that hold the fusebox to the van behind the glove box. Carefully pull it down and out of the steel cradle and you'll fibd a 20amp fuse on the back of the fuse board. This is the cenrtral locking fuse.

There are 2 fuses taped into the steering column loom, try checking those.

you will have to remove the inner panel of the side door (small pull-out clips) to acces the lock. once in you should be able to open the door using the rod visible.

as for the door locking fault i would try replacing the battery in the fob a spare key if you have one or see about getting the one you have re-programmed or changed.
