How can I fix my Zanussi Nexus FL884?

MY machine is not taking in water , there is nothing wrong with the hoses what could be the problem

inlet valve solenoid may have failed.replacement valve may solve your problem.test old valve with a multimeter and it should give a reading between 3kohms and 4kohms if it is ok.
