our hoover washer/dryer smell bad. What can I do to clear it?

our washer/dryer smells bad. I have used a hot water wash, cleaned the bottom cleanout and the soap drawer. What else can I do?

I have seen the rubber in a front loading machine really smell bad and i cleaned mine with mild bleach and soap especially uder the lips that hold dirt that you will not see.
