Temperature problems - Hotpoint Mistral Plus 8596P (Fridge Freezer)?

I wonder if anyone can provide advice regarding the following problem...

The digital display (fridge and freezer mode) showed 'Er' this morning.

I tried turning the fridge/freezer off for a few (about 5-10 secs). When the power was turned back on the fridge temperature shown was +15degC and the freezer -20degC. Assuming the temperature displays are correct it would appear that there is a problem with the fridge cooling (I haven't heard the compressor come on yet).

As I don't know what time the problem occured (overnight) the freezer temperature may still be cold any way, I'll check on the freezer temperature again when I get back home later. Hopefully the problem is just the fridge and is relatively easy / inexpensive to fix!
