black smoking from hijet?

i have a 1997 daihatsu hijet. on acceleration there is excessive black smoke from the exhaust. i have check that the inlet manifold is clean and that no oil is seeping in. any ideas?

Excess black smoke would be a pump/injector problem.but u mention oil,is it using oil?excessive blue/black smoke at load would be oil being drawn in through the inlet valves.possibly worn valve guides or worn perrished valve stem seals.stem seal replacement would be first /cheapest choice.
