how can i fix my karcher 620M pressure washer?

when i tutrn the machine on it runs for a few seconds then blows the fuse any suggestions? its not the cable or any of the wiring visible in the swithch cover ive checked it all however the purple cable which connects to the pressure switch terminal is live with 240 V. and when the switch is on this goes to 240V and connects to the neutral terminal of the main switch.
Please help!!!!!

Be careful here - danger of death. Carefully discharge the large start/run capacitor in the main electrical box, and check that it hasn't gone short circuit. If it has, this could well be your problem.
If not, does the motor sound unusually strained/laboured? Try running it dry without the pump head for A FEW SECONDS. You'll need to secure the pump body/swash plate box covers, or get rather oily!
