Mend Rover 25 Passenger Door Locked

How ca I open the front passenger door on my Rover 25?

The front passenger door on my Rover 25 is permanently locked.
My remote control makes all the noises as if it is unlocking all doors, but it doesn't. I have to open the drivers door with the key and once inside I can open the rear doors manually, but NOT the front passenger door, any ideas ??

i had that same problem on a car once.turned out to be broken wires in the door shut.move the rubber cover out the way in both front door shuts & check the wires
