hi maz, did you get into to change the symbol rate, with your remote? because if the rate is ok , it will give you a list of tv channells even if they are scrambled" tell me what is in the first box that comes up after you enter the pin numbers 0000, thats in the (user insatallation box) it will have on the top of that box, (ch num) (frequence ) symbol rate) ( modulator ) is there any numbers under them? like 291.000mzh. 6887. qam 64? check that out maz..

Hi Mick, done that, the frequency and progress change as if its working but the ch num stays at 0001, the level and quality work goes up to 90+ but no channels appear. Do you think i would need to put new codes into it?(codes at the mo are all 0's) The lock light was on when it crashed last time i think it was in march but i cant rem exactly, when i restored it to factory settings. It did have a number on it but i dont know what it was. Thanx Maz

to change your symbol rate, go to main menu, (installation) down to (user installation)ok that" 0000 is the pin,number,enter it" new window opens,now press the yellow button, and the symbol rate box opens, see 100mzh flashing?it should be 100mzh to 870mzh, under 870mzh is the symbol rate that its scanning, if its showing 6887, change it to 6952, or the other way around, then press ok to do ful scann, if the rate is right, you will see the tv list forming. if not use the other rate number . mick

Maz I don't know where you live but I live in the West of Scotland near Glasgow. My symbol rate here is 6.952 Mick is a great help well done Mick.

you might have changed the symbol rate, when you did a factory restore, the symbol rates are 6887 and 6952, as we dont have virgin m , over here , im not sure , if its 6887. or 6952? but i think the wrong one is in the box now, thats why it wont load any channells,its scanning the wrong symbol rate. mick

yes, got the main menu and the cable goes into (rf) it goes through every thing but asks me to check cable status and doesnt load any channels at all in the tv and radio collum. i thought i wasnt getting a signal from cable but the cable technician said it was working ok.

can you get into the (main menu) and what it printed next to were you put the cable? ( rf in ) or (ant)?

When it crashed i stupidly went into the factory settings and tried to restore them(was having a blonde moment) and since then it reads 0000 and lets me get so far with setting up but keeps saying check cable status. The cable tech said it was fine.

what are you getting on screen when you turn the box on?and was the box flashing by itself , or did you have to put in the codes?
