Hi I can fully tell you what to do yourself to fix this problem but I had this problem with our vokera linea 28 combi boiler about two months ago and we phoned up the Vokera company; the telephone number is on the back of your instruction/installation manual. They offer a service and repair option if your boiler is under 12 years old. I found that this was very good. You can either have one call out for £145+VAT this will include all labour and parts to fix the problem, with this option you get 30 days guarentee with parts. The option we took out was for £295, alot I know but the engineer fixed the problem completely replaced the PCB, the main heat exchanger, secondary heat exchanger and the switched on the front that control the temperature. Also with this option if you have anymore problems with the boiler within a year of the engineer coming out to you they come back FREE of charge. I thought that this was good value for money as the parts alone would have cost about £300. I phoned Vokera on a Monday afternoon and they came out on the Wednesday morning, the engineer fix problem but the boiler still wasn't working properly so I phone again on the Thursday and engineer was here first thing on Friday morning (Great service eh!) The engineer told my boyfriend that they would come out again if I needed them usually it would be within 48 hours of being called on. As I say this option allows me to call on their service for the next year and they will replace any more parts if need be without anymore charges incurred.
