cutting out at high speed?

my peugeot speedfight runs fine but at high speed 50 miles hour its cuts out never to start again i always get it running eventually but do u think this is a electrical prob

it might cut out because there is not enough petrol getting into the engine

1st,make sure the fuel tank vent is clear,remove filler cap and try to start.2nd check the fuel tank valve/filter's.3rd check for spark at cut out time (does it spark)4th make sure it's not partially siezing,check oil.after that it gets complex.
