my larder fridge is not getting cold it clicks at the back then a bigger click then stops and does the same thing again and again, the thing at the back down at the bottom gets very hot!! would i be right in saying that is the compresser? could you help please?
the clicking sound you hear is the motors thermal trip cutting in and out.
your problem lies either with the motor start relay or the motor itself

If the large silver matel canistor is getting very hot i think the therostatic valve has stoped working.
most fridge repair men have spares because they are usaly the first thing that gose.
