Bosch Dishwasher?

My Bosch dishwasher (SGV53E03GB/55) was put on and the cycle seemed to go on far to long. The water has emptied out and if you pour water into the bottom the pump gets rid of it. However no water is coming in. I have checked the water supply and it appears fine but nothing is happening it just sounds like the machine is gargelling. I have tried the reset programme (ie holding down the two buttons), this illuminates the end light but the machine carries on making the same noise. Seems a bit odd really. It has recently been refilled with salt and appears ok. Nothing has happened that I can identify ie strange noises etc. Help please.
