Brake Lights Volvo FM 12 2002?

i said brake light switch is at air tanks..it depends on vehicle..some are next to battery box under a metal plate beside solinoid valves for diff locks

brake light switch is at the air tanks on a brass t piece..it sits upside down and any dirt or moisture fills up the hole that activates when brake is pressed..screw switch out ,check hole is clear and press brake to clear out brass t piece. wires also brake about 6 inches from the same switch.

I have the same problem, lights come on with veb though. When they aren't working the cruise control won't work either. It's an intermittent fault. Any ideas?

brake light swich aint under pedal thats for veb, prob bhaffed wire on chassis from cab to rear light, remove cover under grill (o/s) and remove plug RA put fuse in and try if it blows fault is in can if it doesnt it on chassis, red black wire on RA plug is the feed from cab down to rear lights. (wire no 4 in plug)

is the break light switch under the break pedal working connect the two wires together break lights should be on all the time if not check for power in your loom this should be simple problem i have fixed several volvos with bad wiring
