Mend Sears 502-270110 Riding Mower Transmission Repair

how can i fix my sears riding mower model 502-270110sku?

When i put my mower in gear it doesn't move. I realease the clutch and still runs. I tried moving the speeds from 1 to 5. Still mower doesn't move. Do I need a clutch or transmission or what?

mine did the same thing and it was a broken snap ring that holds the gear on the axle . jack it up & see if by pulling on the wheel the axle will come out of the houseing .

alot are belt driven ...check at trans for broke belt
