Mend Zanussi IZ16 Cycle Error

My zanussi iz16 stops during the cycle?

My zanussi iz16 will stop during a cycle and go back to the start of the programme ie 1:03 in the digital display window. Changing the temp makes little or no difference. This does not always happen and occassionally it will continue to the end of the cycle

Try to check the heater in the drum, it could be open-circuit, or the voltage supply to the heater from the printed circuit board.
