YAMAHA JOG R - ELECTRIC START PROBLEM?

I hava a Yamaha Jog R 2012 model and it stopps after 1-2 km driven. I have checked the vaccum valve and it works. I have also checked the reed valve and it seems fine.

Any ideas ?

Just had the same problem,bike running fine but would not electric start and horn/indicators not working.Changed ignition switch but that was not the problem.Then ran a temp live wire from the battery to the back lights as all electrics run through the back lights and started fine,then used same wire and ran to red wire on ignition switch block started fine again,proving the live has broken between the battery and ignition switch.Rewired live and bike now starts and works 100%

just had identical problem , New ignition switch fitted as no pwer coming out of brown wire. All works fine now

bump this i have exact same problem on 03 jog r cant find any help on iternet other than here

The starting problem is linked to the starter relay which is inside the bottom tray of the panels you should be able to see it by looking rom the rear

starts by kick start everythingok try starting by key no dash lights no starter power nothing fitted new battery still nothing i need wiring diagram any offers
