What is wrong when Stihl chainsaw model 025 won't stay running?

Had the same problem with my 025, changed the carp kit, still not working properley, checked carp kti, had put gasket in up the wrong way (easy done) now it is working fine. Check out your carp again.

You putting in a carb kit and a trained mechanic cleaning and putting in a carb kit can make all the difference. More than likley its still in the fuel system but the air leak could be coming from many different places not just the intake boot. You would need special equipment to test for the air leaks properly. I would take it to a mechanic at this point and save yourself some headache. No simple fix here.
