Mend Sears 33cc Running Start Fully

My weed eater wont stay running?

my sears 33cc grass trimmer will start but wont stay running. I have to keep it almost fully choked to keep it running, and have to play with the choke, it is very touchy, but after a few seconds it just dies.

My weed eater won't stay running, it either bogs down when I press the trigger, or just stops running completely.

My weed eater won't stay runing. It will start and run a few minutes then stop, and at times when I pres the trigger, it will bog down.

You could try just richening the mixture slightly, 1/4 turn out on the L and H screws.

1. If you have lots of white smoke it might be that the petrol/oil mix is old. Try some new petrol and get the mix right.
2. It might be dirt or water that has got into the fuel and blocking the carburettor.
3. It might be an air leak somewhere between the carburettor and engine.
