Mend Empisal Knitting Machine Carriage Needles

my ribber getting stuck on empisal knitter?

The part of the machine that fits ribber and main carriage together gets stuck. I have replaced the sponge holding needles down, checked settings etc. Nothing helps..Please help

Make sure you have the ribber aligned properly, it only has to be slightly out and it won't work.
