Mend Battery Alternator Electrical

battery keeps going flat?

on two occassion my battery has been flat ,i had the battery checked and was told it was charging. i just put in a new battery about 3weeks ago, and battery has gone flat.does it mean the alternator has gone.but would the old battery have charged if the alternator was not working.

assuming alternators ok(easy test for garage)then u have current drain from somewhere.check glove box lights boot lights or any thing that stays on without key.further tests are more involved and i dont know ur level,no offense.dosent take much to drain bat.
