How long should new LDV's convoy backwheel brake drums serve?

Just a month ago my LDV's convoy backwheel brake drums been change.the problem i experienced was extrime braking sensitivity while touching brake pad very subtly and van would make jump and stop braking.I was told that that drums were worn off and replacment needed. so that was don as mentioned. a mont after same thing started coming out. i've got impresion that somthing wasn't done what was claimed to be done. Can anyone tell me they opinion what might've been done and what not in the garage

well, thank you for replay:)
The thing is i'm not mechanic and know only have a rough idea what some parts represent it self. I thing i should've mentioned you that it took them to do both wheels only just over hour and they claim they changed two new drums. though is it time period what it takes to do that kind of job. I guess my enquery looks suspicious about the garage's job on my van but i have a reason for that. after all do you think it should've happend to van just after a month it has been served? Thank you

sounds like load sensing valve needs adjusting-i take it shoes ,cylinders and linkage in drums have been checked/cleaned/repaired and adjusted as neccessary. whilst watching l.s.v. get someone to press foot brake and you should see arm move slightly [to confirm it is working] then refering to label on n/s/f door for setting-basically if you slide spring lock bolt up and pull spring down this will decrease braking to rear brakes . effectively shortening spring,.
