your washer-dryer should tumble at approx 60 rpm, when on dry prog (this is same speed as when washing). it should tumble alternatly clockwise, then anti clockwise. usual fault is "carbon brushes" worn down in motor, these cost about £15.00 pair. But to check if motor is at fault, try it on a wash prog, or spin, if motor not work on these progs, then motor is suspect fault. (also check that the belt has not jumped off, or snapped first) There is also the posability that the electronic control module has a fault, and this is a rather expensive repair, and not one which should be taken on by a none professional
