Mend Hoover Galaxy Water Working Day

hoover galaxy toploader wont stop filling with water?

machine wont stop filling with water then just over flows .working ok one day then had this problem.not the outlet hose this is positioned at the correct height over the laundry basin.

I have come across a lot of these machines where the hose from the lower left hand side of the outer tub to the pressure switch in the control panel has developed cracks thus allowing the air that should be trapped within to escape, replace the hose right through usually fixes the problem best wishes Gordon
