Mend Whirlpool ET18PKXGW Refrigerator Freezer Ice

water accumulates inside refrigerator in self-defrosting refrigerator freez?

have Whirlpool ET18PKXGW refrigerator, top section has self-defrosting freezer. optional ice-maker not installed. freezer has been filled to capacity, refrigerator is mostly empty. Water is accumulating on floor of refrigerator (turning to ice) and water accumulating in 3 crisper drawers. is it possible that food in freezer is blocking vents or has something broken? what to do?

check the seal on the refrigerator door, close the door and look on the side ( where the door meets the fridge) see if there is a gap. This would cause water is your fridge.

Check near the bottom of the fridge, usually above the salad drawer area, for a small hole that is supposed to let the condensate out of the back of the fridge and onto the evaporators where it evaporates away. This hole often blocks up with food debris. Worth a look!
