adjusting alternator belt on Micra?

What is the best method / access for adjusting the belt driving the alternator on a Nissan Micra SE Auto (2003)

You probably have a squealing alternator belt like mine...I found the easiest way to access the adjuster on the idler pulley is by removing the small section of grille on the drivers side as you look from the front (a couple of screws and just unclips). You can then get a universal jointed socket on the adjuster.... slacken off the idler bolt first though!!!
