I over pressurised the water pressure and appeared to have triggered the safety valve, the water drained off through the outside safety valve discharge and the water pressure dropped. The boiler has been unable to maintain the water pressure. it needs topping up every 1/2 hour.How do I solve the problem. It's a combi boiler Vokera Linea 24.
problem is now, there may be a small piesce of dirt preventing the safety vavle from re-seating (closing) and now it will drip forever!, drain boiler, remove and dissasemble the valve, clean the seat and replace, or fit a new one.
boiler pressure should be only 1-1.5bar when cold
