epson stylus cx5200 wont print ?

My cx5200 started to run out of colored ink though my settings said all 3 colors were about 1/2 full. So, thinking my settings were just wrong I bought new cartridges for all 3. Ive made double sure they are installed properly and I have cleaned the nozzles. But when I print something only black ink appears. There are no funny noises or anything like that, everything seems to be working just fine. Any idea what this might be?
