Mend Fisher & Paykel GWL2255 Washing Machine Smart Drive Drain

how can i fix my fisher & paykel smart drive 9 pride 5.5?

My fisher & paykel smart drive 9 pride 5.5 won't drain the water when going into a spin cycle. I can hear a sound but no draining.

You should have a look at the water pump on the bottom front right of the machine... i think you need to take the drum out to get to it though. It is most likely a leaky seal which has caused the pump to rust and seize (well that was my experience). If the pump is rusty and will not turn manually when you get it out, then you can replace the pump for about 50 bucks from most whitegoods repair stores or direct from fisher and pykle.
