Mend Briggs & Stratton 3.5HP Classic Black Spark Plug

Black Spark Plug?

I have a B&S 3.5HP Classic lawnmower. It keeps acting like it is flooding itself. I've already installed a new spark plug but it is just black after one use. It acts like its choking itself. Are there adjustments that can be made and how do I find them?

Replace the carb diaphragm. Almost guaranteed fix.
