where are carbon brushes?

hi gill ! first you have to remove the lid off the top of the machine,just inside you will find the motor,a couple of bolts hold it in place unbolt it take it out, you will find 4 seperate black carbon brushes around one end of the motor these slide out, slide new ones in, bolt motor back in machine. hope this is of some help to you.
