why does my shogun chuck out white smoke?

my 94 2.8 shogun has had new turbo, fuel pump with new inner seals, fuel sender, fuel pipes, filter housing and all sorts of other miner work done to the engine including a compression check to make sure the head gasket is sound which it is, i've been told the timing has been set up by several different peolpe but to no avail it's still throws out white smoke like some hollywood film set, please help it's been 3 months of going to and from the garage and i dred to think how much cash

timing marks on my 2.5 td dont match up iwanted to replace timing belts but dont know where to start coz the marks dont line up,my paj dont run 2 well very smokey and no power at all, please help,thanx andy

compression tests are next to useless.only definative tests is compression leakage test,is garage equiped?working round this,get engine at full working temp,remove radiator cap and run motor with probe from exhaust gas analyser close to coolant filler neck.if it registers any hydrocarbons ur gskt gone.snapon also do a similar test kit that uses a reactive liquid ,detects very small gskt leaks.or coolant presure testing may show up gskt leaks.That aside have u considerd an injector leaking.systematicaly disabling each injector in turn may show up a change in smoke density for either posible cause,rather like pulling of an ignition lead when running to find a misfiring cylender.
