Mend Renault Megane Problem

Electric roof won't go down on renault megane?

Hi, my electric roof on my renault megane won't go down. It's an 's' reg and exactly the same problem as Adams entry in April 08 - if you have the answer or can help I'd like to hear from you

Renault Renault Megane Vehicles, Cars Renault Megane Problem

I had the same problem with my Megane. With a bit of investigation I found that 1 of the 4 solenoids mounted on top of the pump had no continuity, I took the solenoid apart and found that the coil wire was broken so I unwound the wire by 1 wined and soldered it back on. Touch wood I haven’t had a problem since.
