Mend Renault Megane Repair Problem

roof problem?

we just recently bought a 54 plate megane and when we test drove it the roof was working perfectly fine until 2 weeks later we tried it and the boot was jamming half way so the roof couldn't go down was gutted and took it to Renault and said to start looking into it was going to cost £400 but if anyone can help Id appreciate it
