how can i fix my 1.5 dci renault megane?

I have a 1.5 diesel renault megane 05 plate the problem
with it is i was driving to work when the check injection light came on
As car was running ok i continued to work the thing is after the car had bee n standing all day when i went to go home the car was difficult to start and when it fired up there was a lot of smoke and a tapping sound but still drove ok
