why doesn't my John Deere L100 start,?

My John Deere L100 was repaired and I was told there was old gas. Came back doesn't start.

It doesn't sound like the repair was done very well...! If the engine turns over quickly on the key, check that there is a spark at the spark plug, then replace it after cleaning it if it smells of fuel. Make sure the engine is getting full choke then try again. Maybe your repairer should be informed of this?
