Mend Peugeot Speedfight 100 Standard

where am i loosing speed?

i have a peugeot speedfight 100 t reg and i replaced my standard exhaust for a simular standad due to rust and a hole but since i have i have lost overall 15 mph top end.The manifold is sound and new gasket in there, i have alterd the carb settings and cannot restore them can anybody help ???

did u happen to notice the weight of the exhaust?resaon for asking is exhausts can become coked up and blocked giving similar symptoms to yours.if they are both origonal equipment and no mods have benn done to carb jets.thats where i would start.
