How can i fix my Fiesta E3 error on my CD player?

The CD player has 6 x CD's in it, i cannot play or eject any of them, the CD player makes crunching noises and comes up with E3 error, how can i fix this please, it's driving me mad. The radio works fine though.

I'm having the same problem (same CD changer but different car) but I do have the security code. How do I get the unit out?

Thanks for the advice, i do not have the security code, bought it second hand. There are four holes at the side of the streeo, i'm assuming these are for some special implement which removes the stereo from the car, or will some scredrivers do the trick?

If you have the Security Code then you could try removing the unit from the dashboard and wiring it up on a workbench for close inspection . Remove the outer casing and see if you can see what is jamming the CD. Quite often it`s nothing more than one of the mechanism cogs not engaging properly or even a piece of rubbish jamming it.
